Polymer Concrete Wouldn't Like This

Polymer concrete wouldn't like this. We tossed one of these off our Irving loading dock onto the ground, and it held up. That is the short version of why the Channell HDPE in-ground vaults we stock are a straight substitution for polymer concrete boxes, and in our new warehouse video Jason Thompson, our Director of Sales for DFW, walks through the rest.
Durable where it counts
"Not only is it lightweight, but it's durable. Obviously, you can't do that with a concrete box." That is Jason on camera, and the dock toss is the demonstration. HDPE takes a drop, a dragged pallet and a rough set without cracking the way a concrete box can.

A lighter alternative to polymer concrete
Channell rates its HDPE vaults up to 70% lighter than polymer concrete, which makes them easier to handle, easier to set, and easier on the crew.
Tier 22 standard, lid included
Every vault comes standard Tier 22 with the lid included. Tier 22 is the ANSI/SCTE 77 rating tested to a 33,750-lb load. If the job has heavier load requirements, iron lids are available. Whatever the load or the installation, there is a configuration that fits.
Cuts clean with a standard hole saw
Polymer concrete takes a diamond-grit hole saw and throws fiberglass dust. HDPE cuts with a standard hole saw, so conduit entries go in faster and the jobsite stays cleaner.
