"Hey, EZ, how can you save us time and money today?" That's the question contractors ask Eric "EZ" Zillinger, our contractor specialist, on just about every jobsite. In this video, he answers it with a demo of Intermatic's Lighting Contractor Box, shot on our Irving warehouse floor.

Everything in one enclosure

A typical exterior lighting control job means mounting a time clock, mounting contactors, and wiring them together on the wall. The Contractor Box puts it all in one place: an astronomic time clock with the lighting contactors built in, pre-assembled in a single outdoor metal enclosure. Crews hang one box instead of building out several, which saves time in the field and leaves fewer holes in the wall.

Sized for the job

The Contractor Box comes in 4-pole, 8-pole and 12-pole versions, so the same approach works on a small parking lot or a larger site. It also has provisions for adding surge protection or a photocell, so the box can grow with the job's requirements.

Why the astronomic clock matters

An astronomic time clock calculates sunrise and sunset for the site's location, so lights follow the seasons without someone adjusting the schedule by hand. Paired with built-in contactors, it's a complete lighting control package from one manufacturer.

Ready in Irving

Order in by one o'clock, and it goes out the same day — shipped, or picked, packed, and staged at will call. In by one, out the door.
