Picoma SpeedCouple: Turn the Coupling, Not the Elbow

Installing a rigid elbow where there is no room to swing it is one of the slower jobs on a conduit run. The usual answer is a three-piece coupling and a lot of careful turning. Picoma built the SpeedCouple elbow to take that step out.

The coupling comes pre-installed

The SpeedCouple elbow arrives with its coupling already on. Instead of rotating the elbow into place, you turn the coupling, and the lead-in threads do the work. The elbow stays where you set it.

Sizes and radii

SpeedCouple is available in trade sizes 2 through 6, on both standard-radius and special-radius rigid elbows.

Time and material

Picoma says the SpeedCouple elbow takes about half the time to install and can cut material cost by up to 50 percent compared with using three-piece couplings.

Domestic pipe

The elbow is made from 100 percent domestic pipe.
