HellermannTyton's Flat Ribbon Clamp with Arrowhead: Ribbon Cable Routing That Installs in Seconds
On conveyor systems and automation equipment built at scale, installation time is a cost that repeats on every unit. A fastener that saves a few seconds and a tool on each cable run adds up fast across a production line, and that is the case HellermannTyton makes for its new Flat Ribbon Clamp with Arrowhead.
What it does
The clamp routes flat ribbon cables up to 1.2 inches wide. The arrowhead mount snaps tool-free into a 7/16-inch (11.1 mm) round hole with an audible click, so the installer knows the part is seated without checking. Stabilization wings keep it from shifting once it is in, a half-inch standoff routes the cable up and away from the mounting surface, and a comfort tab makes the clamp easy to close during installation or later service.
If a cable has to be relocated, the arrowhead releases cleanly. HellermannTyton's point is that a faster install does not have to mean a permanent one.
Where it fits
HellermannTyton built this for conveyor systems, but the same logic applies to any panel or chassis with punched round holes where ribbon cable needs to be held off the surface and kept in line: material-handling equipment, packaging machinery, automation cells, and OEM assemblies. It joins HellermannTyton's existing flat ribbon clamp family, which covers adhesive and screw-mount versions in several widths.
