Western Tube was established in Oakland, California, in 1964 to thread rigid metal conduit. In 1966, they added a facility in Vernon, California, and installed a tube mill to produce electrical conduit. They acquired their present facility, located in Long Beach, California, in 1975.
Since then, they have added multiple tube mills, a galvanizing facility, and cutting and finishing operations, making them the largest manufacturer of steel conduit on the West Coast. Their headquarters, factory, and main warehouse in Long Beach now occupy 420,000 square feet across 21 acres. They also have numerous warehouse and distribution facilities across the United States to make it easy for customers to receive next-day deliveries.
