Midwest's NEMA 3R air conditioner disconnect line is one of the largest offerings in the industry and they are designed to be durable and meet the requirements of NEC 440-14.
With these A/C Disconnects, installation is easy. A three-piece construction opens up mounting and wiring areas for straight-in or straight-out wiring while numerous knockouts increase installation options. The terminals are approved for 60°C and 75°C wire and they accept solid 14-8 copper, 12-8 aluminum, stranded 14-3 copper, and 12-3 aluminum. Additional features include a padlock provision on the door to prevent unauthorized access, a corrosion-resistant Noryl thermoplastic enclosure, and they are UL and cUL Listed.
