Littelfuse recently expanded its DC Disconnect Switch line with the addition of the LS7R series, available in current ratings up to 500 A at 1500 V DC!
Available to Electra of North Texas and Oklahoma customers, this LS7R series will accommodate emerging applications that require higher current handling capability. The LS7R products are energy-efficient, compact DC disconnect switches that quickly break or resume the flow of current safely to prevent shock hazards when trying to isolate circuits or repair systems.
A streamlined design eliminates the need for external bridging links or jumpers. This lowers heat dissipation for increased energy efficiency, decreases installation and maintenance time, and reduces its footprint for added design flexibility. Additionally, the LS7R products are available in various voltage and ampere ratings and they are applicable for photovoltaic or energy storage systems, electrical vehicle chargers, oil and gas, railway and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.
