Feeder MC is a metal-clad armored cable that provides protection and durability without the need for electrical conduit, elbows, couplings and other costly offsets. It consists of two or three copper conductors, stranded and insulated with heat and moisture resistant, chemically crosslinked polyethylene (type XHHW-2 or RW90), phase identified and cabled together with suitable fillers (when required) and green or bare ground conductor. The cable core is covered with mylar binder tape and aluminum or galvanized steel interlocked armor.
