Type SJOOW has an operating temperature of -40°C to +90°C and is designed for use in 300 volt heavy-duty applications. It provides excellent resistance to oils, acids, chemicals, water, ozone, cuts, tears, and abrasions.
The conductors are constructed of flexible stranded bare copper and it is insulated with premium-grade color-coded Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomoer (EPDM) insulation or Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) compound. The jacket is constructed of black Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE), making it resistant to oil, solvents, ozone, weather, sunlight, and water.
