Available to Electra Sales of Arkansas and Tennessee customers, Orbit's Universal Mounting Adjustable Box, or the UMAB, is designed to take the hassle out of installing bulkier items such as notification devices, down lights, and datacom outlets.
The UMAB is a 4" Square, 3-1/2" Deep Box with a built-in adapter that can be adjusted from flush up to 1-1/2". Simply loosen the screws on each side of the box to set the UMAB to the precise depth you need, mount it on a stud frame or bracket, and you're done!
