Available to Electra Sales of North Texas and Oklahoma customers, Types LAFG and LSSFG recently received upgrades to their jacking making them antimicrobial and food processing blue. They also offer more wear resilience and a wide working temperature range.

Food Processing Blue

Growing in use worldwide, blue PVC jacketing provides high visibility as it does not occur naturally in the food chain. It also allows for lower reflectivity for optoelectronic devices, is resistant to stains and discoloration, and has a high contrast to elements such as spores, mold, and detergent residue.


The PVC Jacketing on Types LAFG and LSSFG is antimicrobial thanks to an antimicrobial biocide additive that inhibits the growth of commonly known food processing microbes such as E. coli, listeria, and salmonella. In fact, there is a noticeable reduction in these microbes over a 24 hour period.

Wear Resilience

Heat-producing equipment and hot washdowns require wear resilience and higher temperature ranges. PVC Jacketing on Types LAFG and LSSFG have a temperature range of -30°C through 105°C, as well as CSA Heavy Duty certification for Type LAFG.
