Type ZHLA is a liquidtight flexible jacketed steel conduit specifically designed as a low fire hazard solution for applications that require limiting toxic materials of combustion. This product is UL listed and CSA certified. Additional benefits of using colored flexible conduit include saving time and money in maintenance and repair situations, enabling quick circuit identification, as well as providing a visible warning to use caution in and around specific areas.
Type ZHLA's core is made from a spiral-wound strip of heavy-gauge, hot-dipped galvanized steel, providing high mechanical strength while the jacket is made of a specially formulated thermoplastic polyurethane jacket which has excellent flame resistance, is non-halogen, low smoke, and has low toxicity generation characteristics. The jacket is also resistant to ozone, hydrocarbons, moderate chemicals, oils, and fuels.
