One such product, Type ATXSS, is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and to provide excellent corrosion resistance. Its core is constructed of a continuous strip of corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel and its jacket is constructed of flexible TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) that is resistant to oils and mild acids, is halogen-free, is UV stabilized, and has a flame rating of UL94-HB. Additionally, Type ATXSS has an operating temperature of -60°C to 150°C and an intermitting temperature of 165°C. It is also available for special order in 304L stainless steel.
