HDPE allows for simpler installation thanks to its long, continuous lengths, high pull strength, and a low coefficient of friction (20% lower than PVC) that allows for long cable pulls. This tough, durable conduit is corrosion resistant, has a long life expectancy, and has an operating temperature ranging from -20° C to 90°C. HDPE allows for cable lines to be replaced or repaired without needing to dig or trench and it can be continuously plowed as opposed to trenching PVC sticks.
Blue Diamond's HDPE is available in sizes ranging from 1/2" through 6" and it is available in a variety of colors and striping combinations. Other options include pre-lubrication, pre-installed pull tape, pre-installed cable in conduit and a toneable wire.
